I cannot connect to my cPanel from my workplace. The cpanel and webmail login URL redirects from http://mysite/cpanel to https://secure28.webhosting.com:2096 (or 2083). These ports are firewalled and i cant get to my cpanel or webmail.
1) why is my cpanel redirected from my url to another?
2) why is it redirected to an unusual port 2096?
3) Please, make it work from www.mysite.com/cpanel without redirecting to 2096 or 2083 ports!

Hello Maxim,

I'm sorry you're having trouble logging into cPanel and webmail. The URLs and ports you are being redirected to are the standard ports for cPanel and webmail. You are not able to log in from your workplace due to your firewall settings. You can either update the firewall to allow traffic over port 2083 and 2086 or you can use the proxies for cPanel and webmail.

cPanel Proxies
cpanel.yourdomain.com
cpanel.secure##.webhostinghub.com (where secure## is your server number: e.g. cpanel.secure28.webhostinghub.com)

Webmail Proxies
webmail.yourdomain.com
webmail.secure##.webhostinghub.com ((where secure## is your server number: e.g. webmail.secure28.webhostinghub.com)

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
