Hi,

I've recently registered a new domain name (www.hoochiesoysterhouse.com), and I would like to make this the primary domain on my existing hosting plan.

Could you help me do this? I would also like visits to www.hoochiesoysterbar.com (the current domain on my hosting plan) to redirect to www.hoochiesoysterhouse.com.

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,

Thank you for your question about changing the primary domain name on your account. Please review our support article regarding making that change so that you will understand how this will affect your account. Once you're ready to make that change, please send an email to support@webhostinghub.com with the following information:

  • Your username or current primary domain name

  • For security purposes, either the last 4 digits of the current credit card on file or your current AMP password.

  • The domain name you would like set as the new primary domain

Once your primary domain name is changed, you can then set up hoochiesoysterbar.com back in as an Addon domain and create a 301 redirect through cPanel to redirect visitors to hoochiesoysterhouse.com.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
