I have a domain name registered with a different company. I'd like to point that domain to my webhostinghub hosting account without transferring the domain. How would I set this up in the control panel?

Hello Jason_NW,

You will need to do two things to have the domain work from our servers, but still be registered elsewhere.

1- Add the domain to our server as an addon domain (for an independent site) or parked doamin (to point to your primary site) within the cpanel. This will have no immediate effect on the domain until you perform step 2.

2 - From the current registrar, you will want to point the domain to our nameservers.

This will allow your domain to stay with the current registrar, but the site content will run from our servers.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best regards,
Scott M
