I have a new hosting account and have just set up two e-mail accounts but have been unable to access either of them through webmail. I get different error messages depending on which service I use

Roundmail: Connection to IMAP server failed
Squirrelmail: ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server
Horde: Login failed because your username or password was entered incorrectly.

I have confirmed that I am logging in using the correct e-mail address and password and not with my cPanel login and I'm still encountering this. What might be going on here?

Hello again stumptown,

Thank you for your patience while we resolved this issue. The mail directory was removed from your account which was causing the errors you were seeing. We have recreated this directory for you and you should now be able to create email addresses and log in through webmail with no issues. Please note, the existing email accounts will need to be removed and recreated through cPanel in order for them to be set up properly.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
