Hi!

The domain I got with Webhostinghub a year ago expired today, and I didn't wan't to renew it anymore. The problem is, that I can't access my directories with their FTP accounts anymore because they were assigned to that domain. I tried to fix the problem by removing all old FTP accounts, but by the time I started to create them again, I noticed I can't change the FTP host domain, and thus can't create any new FTP accounts before I am able to change it to my new domain(s). Any ideas on how to do that?

Hello Zaapo,

When changing the Primary Domain name on an account, the FTP account names will change to match the new primary domain name. I see the FTP accounts in your account have changed over or been re-created.

You can always use either the primary domain name or the server name as the hostname to log into the FTP. You can find your server name on the left hand sidebar of your cPanel. It is labeled 'Server Name' and will appear in the format ehub## or whub## (where ## is the server number.) Iny our case it is whub25. To use that as a hostname for FTP, put whub25.webhostinghub.com as the hostname. This will work for you as well as using the new primary domain name.

Best regards,
Scott M
