I saw in my cPanel that there's a file size upload limit of 1000MB; why's that? Wordpress folder alone is more than 3 times larger.

Hello Annalisa,

Thank you for your question about the file upload limit. That limit is the maximum individual file size for a file uploaded through the cPanel File Manager. It is not the maximum size of a folder or file in your account. If you have a file that is larger than 1000MB (which is close to 1GB) you can use FTP instead of the cPanel File Manager to upload your file.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
