I have audio files that I want to load using ftp accounts, then have users be able to download individual files after they've paid for them.

What is/are the recommended technique(s)on webhostinghub for securing the files, so that only authorized buyers can access their purchase?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi geg_suncoast,

Thanks for posting in the forums. I'm sorry you are having troubles with securing your audio files for purchase on your website. I'm more than happy to assist you.

I'd recommend looking for a shopping cart that is set up to handle the sale of digital media. Many free shopping carts such as CubeCart support the sale of digital media as well as tangible products. Cubecart is offered in cPanel under the Fantastico de Luxe icon (blue smiley face). If you want to learn more about cubecart and it's potential to sell digital media please click on the link below:

How Do I add a digital product to CubeCart

Also if you want to learn more about using Fantastico de Luxe in your cPanel account, please read the following article:

Getting Started: Fantastico

For more information on installing CubeCart using Fantastico please read the following article:

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thank You!
