We have a few users who prefer their first and last name as part of their email address. I have set them up however, if the user uses capital letters it will not allow then to sign in. Is there a way to set up the email accounts so that they are NOT case sensitive?

Thanks

Hello Shannon_PSP,

Thank you for your question about capitalization in email accounts. Unfortunately, cPanel does not allow for capitalization in email addresses. When you create an email account, cPanel automatically turns all letters of the email address (but not passwords) into lower case letters. When users sign in to check their email, they will want to make sure they use all lower case letters in the user name (full email address).

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
