Last week, McAfee erroneously reported my website, www.buckettripper.com, as "dangerous" and Facebook blocked all links. McAfee has since rectified its mistake, but Facebook continues to block us from linking to our award-winning very G-rated content . We have had the site scanned by our host. We have checked all the other security sites we could find, and all say we are "safe". we have filled in every conceivable form we could find on Facebook, some multiple times, including reporting abuse, reporting that they blocked the site in error, trying to call them (their customer service number say they don't offer customer service; even their e-mail addresses respond with an automated "go away" note.) We even tried to contact their advertising department, because we would not be able to advertise with them unless they lift their block. Any other ideas for dealing with the company with THE worst customer non-service in the world?

Hello Kberger,

I'm sorry to hear about your problems with Facebook. Unfortunately, they have their own methods in dealing with issues of this nature. I did check your domain using this website: mxtoolbox.com. It seems to be clean, I also checked with sucuri.net and still nothing. The problem here is finding what Facebook has deemed as the official path to re-instating the website. This may unfortunately may be something that can't be fixed unless Facebook fixes it.

I DID spend a good amount of time going through their terms and also their HELP community - which, ironically, might be the place for you address the issue. Check out this link and you'll find that there are quite a few other people with a similar problem:

Facebook has blocked links

You may also want to consider OTHER social networks - Google+ is one you may consider. I do apologize for the frustration and I wish there was more that we could do. Please let us know if you require any further assistance or have any further questions.

Regards,

Arnel C.
