I have created and downloaded a .tar backup file using the CPANEL backup program provided by my current host. Can this be used to transfer / restore my existing domain files (website, ftp site and email) to your server?

Hello cedwards,

Thank you for your question regarding restoring a cPanel backup. The .tar format is fine. As long as the file contains a full cPanel backup, it will include your files and emails.

Once you have uploaded the file to your account, we can assist in unpacking it as a courtesy.

Just send an email request to Support@webhostinghub.com , be sure to include verification in the email, which can be your current AMP password, or the last four of the credit card on file.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

-John-Paul
