I've read article 301 and I'm still confused in regard to the actual email IMAP client settings that I would use to test new email server prior to re-pointing DNS entries. You have assigned an temporary URL, but not sure if / or how it supports temporary email. Could you provide specific setup instructions? I would like to transfer all the existing emails to new account prior to changing nameserver entries.

Hello Cedwards,

There is no real way to "test" the email without first changing the MX records on your current domain registrar. This re-directs mail to us without changing your web traffic. Other than that, it's probably easiest to change the name servers to our hosting service and then both the mail and web services would be pointing to our hosting service within 24 hours.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
