I would like to add a "log-in" feature to my website which would require visitors to log in before they can access any of the pages. It seems like every website I go to has one, but I'm really having a hard time finding anything here about setting it up. I am truly a cherry, so any help (in the simplest, most detailed manner) would be greatly appreciated.

Hello rkosha,

Thank you for your question about adding a login feature to restrict access to your website. I see from the notes on your account that you have been using the Premium Website Builder. While the Premium Website Builder does make it easy to quickly get a website up and running, it does have some limitations. The easiest way to implement the type of login feature you are looking for is to use a different tool to create your site (such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal) and then add a plugin or module that adds that functionality to your site.

For instance, with WordPress you can install a membership plugin which will allow you to control the content that members can see on your site. I did a quick search of the plugin repository at WordPress and there are over 500 membership plugins available.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
