Hello NeilR,

To move a website from a subfolder up to the main folder, you simply need to clean out the files from the main domain, then copy the files up from the subfolder to the main area. Once that is done, ensure you change any configurtion files for the program you are using to reflect the new URL, then the website should be migrated properly.

This is a simplistic version as the number of configuration files may differ depending on the program you built the site with. You also may need to make path changes in the database, again depending on the program you used to create the site.

It is also a good idea to make a backup of your home directory before performing any procedure. Below are a couple ofl inks to help you.
