Joomla url, how they impact horizontal menus and SEO
Built a Joomla 3.5x website. Focus here is on horizontal menus. Started out with SEO 'unfriendly' URL's ( believe). I believe they originally had a 'ct' in them, and a hierarchy to them. I then tried to add a horizontal menu item, but it would not display in the horizontal menu 'header', at the top of the page below my banner image. All additional attempts to add horizontal menu items results in non-display in the header. Have researched this furiously for an extended period of time. Suggestions or links to explanatory articles?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about URLs and horizontal menus in Joomla. There shouldn't be a connection between the URL structure and the non-appearance of the header unless there is some content coded into the header that is hard-coded for a certain URL. Have you added any custom-coded content to the site? Best, Christopher M. |
