I've built a Joomla 3.x website for an organization under my own domain, which is offline. The organization will be buying a domain name and hosting account with webhostinghub.com shortly. How do I transfer the website that is currently under my domain and get it under theirs? Do I need to install Joomla in their account first? If so, a new database will be created, how do I get the current database into the new one, etc?

Hello,

Thanks for the question about transferring your Joomla site . You have two options: 1)You can migrate the site yourself. We unfortunately do not have a dedicated tutorial for this process. However, there are many options available on the internet. Check out this video from Youtube that walks through the process. 2)You can submit a verified support ticket requesting the transfer.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
