Can I change from the Premium Web Builder to an alternative?

Do I have to remove the builder I've been working with (Premium Web Builder)in order to download an alternative web builder? I want to create a website that is a photogallery as well as sell my products online with an ecomerce module - the eShop didn't seem like it would work. I thought the Zen Cart module might work better?

Hello coloneedstoknow,

You can change the software you use to create your site anytime you like. While looking into this for you, I noticed a couple of things:



Since you have not published any files from the builder and your builder account is actually located on a separate server, you will not have to remove any files in order to change to a different software application for building your site. You can install Zen Cart through Fantastico De Luxe in your cPanel.

Since your domain is not yet pointed to us and Zen Cart (like many programs) relies on your site's URL, you will want to modify your hosts file on your local computer so that you can in essence "trick" your local computer. This way, when you navigate to your domain, you will actually be taken to the Web Hosting Hub server your account is on instead of where the domain is currently pointed to.
