Improper PrestaShop URL display
My website address is www.hobbysupermall.com which is an online store powered by Prestashop. When you typed in the address, it comes up as www.hobbysupermall.com/www.hobbysupermall.com. Please note that I had this website for a year now and I never had a problem until tonight (two days before we go live). I spoke with technical support and they don't see anything wrong with the server. They suggested to write to the community Q&A for help. Also, my logo doesn't show up anymore. Can anyone help me?

Hello, Sorry to hear about your URL issues, but I think I can help. This should take care of both the URL issue and the image display. Your base URI for the store is set incorrectly. This is why it is doubling up the name. It is also the reason for the logo not displaying. To change this you need to go into the Admin dashboard, then click on the Preferences tab, then SEO & URLs. From there scroll down until you see a field called Base URI. This is likely set to www.hobbysupermall.com. Although it doesn't say, this setting is supposed to be the URL for AFTER the domain name. So if you had PrestaShop installed at example.com/store you would simply enter '/store' here. Since it is your main domain, simply place a forward slash '/' in it and then save it. You can find this information in our article on Changing the Base URL for PrestaShop 1.5. If you are running PrestaShop 1.6 the instructions should be close to the same.
