If I transfer my domain name to webhostinghub as a "free transfer", will I maintain full ownership of the domain name once I renew for $11.99 the second year? Will Webhostinghub have ownership of my domain at any time in the future?

Hello SDC123,

The only way you do not "own" the domain name is if you did not register the domain with a domain regsitrar using your name. If you transfer it to another domain registrar, the main thing that changes is that you have a different domain registrar company managing your domain. Web Hosting Hub actually uses a domain registrar company called Melbourne IT to manage domains for our customers. All domain names are managed a subscription basis. The 11.99 is the cost to have the domain registrar manage the domain for a year - and again the domain belongs to the registrant name used to register the domain.

So in reference to your questions: 1) yes 2)No - domain belongs to you. Domain registrars only manage them.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
