I misunderstood the instructions and don't actually have read access to the admin email although I mistakenly answered 'yes' in the transfer wizard. I have sent mail to this address, and they answer promptly.

How can I recover from this blunder?

Thanks,
MIke

Hello Mike,

One of two things will happen. Either the current registrar will forward you the email (provided they have an email address to forward it to) or the transfer will fail after a couple of days of waiting for your confirmation.

If it is the second situation, all you have to do is simply resbumit the transfer after you receive the transfer failure notice and have changed the admin email address with the current registrar. That way you can confirm it the next time around.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M
