Free Domain annual fee?

I just subscribed to your service. I just wanted to verify that as long as I stay with your service, I will not be charged an annual domain name fee on the free first domain that I ordered.

Hello Wolfgeist,

You are correct. As long as you maintain your hosting account, the domain that you registered or transferred to us remains free. It's basically free for the life of the account.

Due to rising domain costs by the Government Agency that controls domain fees (ICANN/Verisign), we've had to change our policy on free domain registrations / renewals. Free domain registrations are no longer free for the life of your hosting account, but are instead free for the first year only. Further details can be found in our Terms of Service.
