How do I set the e-mail output mode in PHP to be UTF-8? In perl, this would be:

binmode (MAIL, "utf8");

Hello BrianDiehm,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have an article that covers this. After doing an internet search, it looks like this can be set in the Header of the message by using this line of code:

$headers1 .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8\r\n";
