If I have an SSL certificate that I used at a previous host, can I install it here?

Hi fussym5,

Thank you for your question about transferring an SSL from a previous host. Yes, your SSL can be transferred to your account with us and we will be happy to assist you.

There is a one time installation charge of $25 and the dedicated IP address for your SSL will be $2.95/month (billed yearly). Before transferring the SSL, we will need to issue a CSR so that your SSL can be rekeyed by your SSL vendor to work on the new server here.

I have sent you an email requesting the CSR information and your approval of the charges. Please respond to that email when you are ready for us to proceed. We will then respond with your CSR for you to provide to your SSL vendor. Once your vendor has rekeyed your SSL they will send you the new SSL files. At that time, please provide the new SSL files so we can complete your SSL installation.

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
