I'm new to this, so I have a "dumb" question. If I begin development of my website using your builder but then decide to use Drupal or another builder you have, can I abondon the website and use that builder instead??

FYI: I'm concerned because I like to customize documents I create, and my understanding is that your builder may not allow me sufficient flexibility. I'd like to try it first though in case I find a design I like. But, I need to be able to delete that website design and use another builder that you've got if I can't use your premium web builder.

Thanks very much for your help.

Hello Roxanne,

Thank you for your question about switching between various ways of building your site. That is a completely understandable question.

You are not locked in to any one way of creating your site. If you install software through Fantastico De Luxe and then later decide you want to use something else, simply go back into Fantastico De Luxe to remove that software from your account and then install whatever software you prefer to use.

One of the great things about the Premium Website Builder is that it is actually housed on a completely different server. The builder does not affect your live site at all until you publish your files from the builder. Even if you publish files from the builder and decide you want to switch to something else, you can delete the files that were published from the builder through either the cPanel File Manager or an FTP program. The site files would be found under the public_html folder (the document root for your main domain).

Please let us know any time you have questions or need assistance. Good luck with your new site!

Regards,

Christi N.
