I try to do a simple System Setting update and it times out with the below message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /home/drill45/public_html/webcalendar/includes/dbi4php.php on line 817

The change attempted above was to make the calendar public. I tried to do a different change and got the below error.

Error removing temporary file.

The permissions for the following directory do not support the db_cachedir option in includes/settings.php:

/tmp

Hello,

The error that you're encounter with WebCalendar regarding the db_cachedir option can be corrected by updating the settings.php file mentioned in the error.

Currently you should see this setting:

db_cachedir: /tmp

You'd want to change this to:

db_cachedir: /home/userna5/tmp

Making sure that userna5 matches your cPanel username.

That way the WebCalendar software will use your own account's /tmp directory, which your user has full permissions to, instead of the server-wide /tmp directory.

Were you also still having issues with the dbi4php.php script timing out as well?

From taking a look at your logs, it looks like this software may be causing a conflict with mod_security, thus preventing scripts that it requires to load. I recommend disabling mod_security to resolve the issue.

I've disabled it and still get the same time out issue.
