API key problem , area map

i need to put a map in my website , i have generated an API key but when i write it in the service provider settings and after that i should choose a location , i see this message " Google Maps API Key is invalid. Please contact your system administrator."
what could i do?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your API key. I do not see any content on your site, so I am not able to view anything to give any advice. Also, please describe what you are doing step by step so we can attempt to duplicate the issue.

Have you also considered just embedding a map?
