Hello there.
I would like to register a site on your hosting, but first I need to know one thing.
My site managed by 1C-Bitrix CMS.
Does your service support folder names, beginning with a dot symbol, like .default, .myfolder etc.?
For example - a site registered at hosting www.ipage.com that does NOT support such names
http://divolightcoil.ipage.com/
This makes problems in the site control panel.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello shiveldats,

Thank you for your questions about folder names and the 1C-Bitrix CMS. As long as you are using the Bitrix Site Manager that is compatible with Linux (make sure it's not the Bitrix .NET Forge product which is only compatible with Windows based hosting) you shouldn't have any issues running the CMS here on your Web Hosting Hub account. One thing to keep in mind when working with folders or file names that begin with a dot (.) is that these are considered hidden files by the system. So, if you need to view those files using the File Manager in cPanel, you will want to make sure you select the option to "Show Hidden Files (dot files)" when you open the File Manager.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
