I contacted support through chat with the following question:

"I have a full screen video background on the new version of my website I just uploaded, and it's working fine when I "preview in browser" with my html editor. however, the video isn't playing on my domain when I publish. I read that this might have to do with the "mime" types you allow. I honestly have no idea what that is, but I read I should contact my hosting company and have the following mime types installed: AddType video/mp4 mp4 m4v
AddType audio/mp4 m4a
AddType video/ogg ogv
AddType audio/ogg ogg oga
AddType video/webm webm
AddType video/x-ms-wmv wmv"

Brian Ch told me that he added the mime's, it still didn't work. He asked me to clear my cache. It didn't work. He "looked into it" again, forgot that he had asked me to clear the cache and asked again...and after 20 or so minutes more "looking into it", said that he and his higher ups had no idea and said I should contact a developer.

This is not an issue with my code, the video shows up and functions perfectly when I preview in browser. It is only when I publish that it stops working. Brian Ch told me to contact you guys to look into the issue further.

I'm a current customer and I think its almost 1 on the east coast. The person I talked to in the support char guaranteed that someone from Web Hosting Hub would help me with this on the forum by this morning

Hello Mochimomoiro,

Yes as we do answer all questions within one hour of being asked during our 8am-9pm EST time frame, your question was asked at 11:48pm EST. I do apologize but other questions/comments build up over the evening as well and we try to answer all of them as fast as possible. In regards to your website, the video does play for me if I right click the video and select play. I found an article on doing the code in HTML 5 but not with the builder you are using (HTML5 UP). If you can try to make sure the term autoplay is in the video tag for your background as this is what chrome is showing me:

<video id="my-video" class="video" muted loop>

Try to make it this:

<video id="my-video" class="video" muted loop autoplay>

Best Regards,
TJ Edens
