starting new website

hi, i registered for webhosting just a few hours ago. i installed wordpress and clicked on the "visit site" link on the wordpress/fantastico area. i get a message that says "server not found" message. is it too soon for my hosting to be activated or am missing something. i was hoping wordpress would bring to a placeholder page where i could building my first page and rest of site. thanks, frank

Welcome to WebHosting Hub. I know it's exciting getting started with your new website. I do see that your domain has been pointed to our Nameservers, but it looks like that change was just made today. Please allow 4-24 hours for DNS to propagate. If you would like to get started building your site before that time, you can make a minor modification to your WordPress configuration file so that you can use WordPress through your temporary URL.
