Hello,
I received an email explaining that I needed to reset my wordpress login password. I reset and added a new password, however wordpress is not recognizing the new password. I am positive that I have it right, but I'm afraid there is some security feature limiting my access because of so many failed brute force hacking attempts.

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your WordPress login issues. Have you tried to reset the password by using the forgotten password link located on the WordPress login page?

Too many incorrect attempts can set off a server side security blocking access for 15 minutes. Also, there are plugins that can limit the number of failed attempts. During installation there is an option to include one such plugin. If you installed with that plugin included, then that could also be the case.

If you are blocked, simply wait a while (15-30minutes) and then attempt to reset your password.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
