If you got locked out of your WordPress website, you should have been directed to our article on WordPress wp-login.php brute force attack. At the bottom of that article are steps for regaining access to your WordPress admin by only allowing your local IP address access via some .htaccess rules, and then waiting for the 15 minute block to expire.
If you really needed to get in right away, then you can put the .htaccess rules in place to protect your WordPress site, then you can temporarily disable mod_security in cPanel to get back in. But we'd recommend going ahead and re-enabling mod_security after you're logged in, so that you're still protected from other types of security risks.
Please let us know if you're still having any issues at all.
