The McAfee Control Console includes one Administrator account, some people may not know the difference between this account and a regular user account. In this tutorial we will compare the McAfee Control Console Admin and User accounts.
When you sign up for a McAfee Protection pack, an Administrator (Admin) account is created for the Control console. The Admin account allows you to create rules that affect everyone; for example, you can login to the Control Console as an Administrator and disable the Profanity filter, which affects all email accounts.
Users can login to the McAfee Control Console and modify settings regarding their account only, such as how often they receive a spam report email, or their time zone setting.
How do I know if my login is the Admin Account?:
You can view or change the Admin login email address in the cPanel.
As long as you have access to the Inbox for the address listed, then you can Access the Control Console as an Administrator.
