The Customer Credit report is not to be confused with a credit card report that can be obtained from credit agencies. The Customer Credit report refers to the credit that a customer may have specifically with the OpenCart store. The following tutorial will show you how to use the Customer Credit report in OpenCart 1.5.
Viewing the Customer Credit Report in OpenCart 1.5
- Login to the Administration Dashboard as an Administrator
- Place your mouse over REPORTS in the menu bar. Click on CUSTOMERS when the drop-down menu appears. When the menu appears to the right, select CREDIT. You will see a screen similar to the one below:
- Select a DATE START and DATE END in order to set a date range for the report. Select FILTER in order to apply the data range and filter the results.
The Customer Credit report is used to provide feedback to the Administrators or employees of the store who have access to the Administration panel. It indicates where credit has been given to a customer when it has been used, or if it is active. Customer will only see a credit upon return of a product. They can see this in their own Return Report such as the one below:
