FTP Accounts dont work

I CAN log into AMP, I used AMP to create an additional FTP account.

I can NOT login to FTP via unix shell, I get:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.

via filezilla I get get:
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

I tried both the FTP account I set up with password and the AMP id / password which I've read in support is supposed to work, too.

I'm trying to help my friend setup his account and need to bulk upload some php. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello TimSlipNSlide,

I was able to create a test account and connect correctly via FileZilla. You will not be able to shell in as our servers do not allow shell access. FTP is the way to go.

With the FTP, I checked and saw the domain name is not yet pointed to our servers, so the settings need to use the server name instead. ehub31.webhostinghub.com is the host name you want to use.

host: ehub31.webhostinghub.com
user: user@domain.com
password: ftpPasswordHere

That is all you need to connect properly. I am also including a link to our FTP Getting Started Guide to view in case you need any further details.
