I'm getting the following error when trying to set up an email forward in CPanel.

Fatal! Write Failure: /etc/valiases/funpad.com. Ignore any messages of success. This can only result in failure!

Hello Gizmo6,

I took look at your account. Typically, an error like that indicates a permissions issue on one of the folders. I restored permissions on your files per a script we use for this purpose. Then I tested adding forwarders to your account using the same domain indicated in the error. I am unable to replicate the error at this point, so it looks to be fixed.

Let us know if yu're still having any issues with the forwarder.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
