Hello all,

lately my server is returning a lot of 'Too many connections' errors. My database is accessed with php scripts called from an iOs application. But currently there are only about 1000 users, who do not use it all at the same time.

I use mysql_connect() and even when it is not required I've put mysql_close() at the end of every script.

Is it possible that other users from webhostinghub eat up all the connections?

Hello RonWon,

You will need to submit a request to the Systems team. I spoke with a Tier2 tech to confirm. He doesn't have the access to increase the number of connections, but the Systems can do it to an extent. They do this on a case-by-case basis and will need to review your case. Please email support@webhostinghub.com. Indicate the issue, and also make sure to include verification info: the last 4 digits of the credit card on the account OR, the Account Management Panel (AMP) password.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
