I took a look on the server your site is hosted on, and it did appear there was a brief 8-10 minute period of elevated load on the server that could have possibly lead to some MySQL database server connectivity issues temporarily during that time-frame.
It doesn't seem that this happens very frequently at all on that server, so I'm wondering if possibly some of the other database connectivity issues you could have been experiencing might be related to your forum software itself or other software you're running that is database driven.
Sometimes applications will use what is called a persistent MySQL connection meaning that it won't simply open and close a connection per query. If you have something like a search engine crawling through your sites and a few normal human visitors as well you could possibly be tripping your account's maximum MySQL connection slots which can lead to a database connection error.
Do you happen to know when you're having these database issues, are you still able to access a normal HTML page, e-mail on the server, or cPanel for instance?
If you are able to still access these other things, you might want to possibly look at your application's settings to ensure it's not trying to use persistent MySQL connections.
Also it looks like you have some pretty heavy search engine bot activity, we would recommend imposing a crawl delay on them to ensure that they aren't crawling your sites at a rate which might cause database issues as well. You can see instructions for how to setup a (Crawl-delay) rule in the following article, we typically recommend setting a value of 30 seconds in these.
Using a robots.txt file
Hopefully that should help out. If you continue to experience these issues please be sure to report them to our support team so that we can trend this issue for you, as it seems like looking at your account history this is the first time this is being reported to us as an issue.
Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.
