When using my temporary URL, I get "Error establishing a database connection" window.

I am using WordPress and have edited the wp-config.php file to the new database name and user and changed the host to local host.

Hi ToddWCarter,

I'm sorry you had trouble with your manual WordPress installation. While checking into this for you I see that our Support Team was able to assists you by assigning the database user to the database. That step is an easy one to miss if you create your database without using the MySQL Database Wizard.

I checked your temporary URL and see that your site is now working through the temporary URL. Once you point the domain's Nameservers, and DNS has propagated (4-24 hours) you can remove the reference to the temporary URL in the wp-config.php file.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
