I have a website that is fairly large (an online encyclopedia).
Also I have 5 domain names registered with godaddy.

That hosting service was recommended about 3 years ago, but I have never been happy.

I have been reluctant to move as I have a MySQL database and a secure site (a godaddy seal) and the domains are registered for a number of years and the hosing has a year to run.

However, I have had many problems with godaddy, not least all the stuff on their site!

Also I have stats but that has recently been lost by godaddy!

I have a number of sites with dreamhost and their service is fine but I want this site on a different server.

How can you help with a transfer.

Within reason I am not too concerned about the cost (esp. as I may save in the long run).
Service is the most important.

Hello dabbott,

Thank you for your questions about moving your website files and databases. I'm sorry to hear you have had a bad hosting experience, but I'm happy to hear you are considering switching to Web Hosting Hub.

While we are not able to directly assist with transferring your website, we do have a quite a bit of documentation here in the Support Center that will walk you through the process.

Since GoDaddy does not use cPanel, our article How do I move my Website to Web Hosting Hub? will walk you through the steps needed for moving your website and database files from their hosting.

Here are our articles on exporting, creating, and importing databases in phpMyAdmin:
