The problem is that the file exists in the directory listed here

Hi Milhouz,

I'm sorry you're having trouble installing Drupal 6. I see that you have the files uploaded to your drupal subfolder and it looks like Drupal just needs some final configuration settings in the Drupal Administration area.

Where are you seeing these errors, for example do they occur when you are trying to log into the Drupal Administration area?

I noticed that permissions for the settings.php file are not set correctly, per the Drupal installation instructions:

http://drupal.org/documentation/install/settings-file

You can set file permissions on files by following the instructions covered here in our article on Changing File Permissions.

Please let us know if changing the file permissions solves this for you. If not, please let us know where you are seeing these errors and how we can recreate them so that we can troubleshoot this further for you.

Regards,

Christi N.
