I am using Drupal, and sometime want to revert my changes.
I can take a specific backup of my DB but only a backup of my home directory. Can I can the home directory to the Drupal install only? Would I have to perform the backup as a directory copy instead?

Hello mykeys, and thanks for your question.

You can make either a full cPanel backup of your entire account, or what it sounds like you'd probably be looking for a partial home directory backup.

Both options are explained in detail in our guide on Creating a website backup in your cPanel.

If your account is over 3GB in size typically using the cPanel backup methods are inefficient and we would recommend creating a backup using FTP in that case.

I hope that answered your question, if you had any other questions at all please let us know.
