My website just recovered from about two hours' worth of downtime. What happens to emails sent to addresses on my domain during those two hours (and any future downtime)? Do they get returned to sender right away, or are they retried for 24 hours until they get through?

Thanks!

Hello TransitDocs,

Depending on the sending server, the email can take one of two routes. It will either try to resend for a period fo time, or return it to the original sender with a 'try again later' type of message.

Best Regards,
