I have email on 3 devices - Outlook 2007, EVO Android phone and Nexus 7 tablet. I cannot get the settings to leave the mail on server.

If I set as IMAP on both Outlook and Android, when I delete on phone email is deleted from server and won't come into Outlook.

If I set as POP with "leave on server for 10 days" in both Outlook and Android, the mail stays on the server for one day and then goes away.

How do I keep my mail on the server with multiple devices?

Hello NancyB,
Thank you for your question regarding email. If you are checking the emails from multiple locations, I would recommend using IMAP.

IMAP leaves the emails on the server, so when you check from multiple devices they see the same emails. It is true, when you delete an email, it will delete it off the server, so the other devices will not see them anymore.

Instead of deleting them, just move them to a different IMAP folder, such as: old emails

That way they are still accessible on the other devices, by looking in that folder.

Otherwise, you can use pop and leave a copy on the server. If that is not working I recommend contacting support, so they can help you check your settings.
