Email Utilization Suddenly Increased to Max

My email account hit the maximum utilization of 250MB, but when i looked into my online mail account there was no mail and no attachments. I couldn't reset the utilization number so i deleted my account and then readded it.

I am constantly offloading mail off the server so my only guess is i was spammed with some huge attachments. It happened about 18 hours ago.

Any idea why there would be no mail in my inbox even though the mail utilization was so high.
