My spell check is not working in my email using roundcube. How to I activate it or should it work just by clicking on the icon after I have composed an email?

Hello angie,

First, let me apologize for the confusion. I have been advised by our Systems Team that enabling this in our shared environment will not be possible. To enable the spell check in roundcube requires a complete rebuild of cPanel's internal PHP. This could adversely impact other users on the server.

Depending on the browser you are using, spell check is often built-in to a browser or can be added with a spell check addon. If you're using Internet Explorer for example, you can try the free addon ieSpell or the Google Toolbar which includes spell check. In Firefox, spell check is built-in and can be enabled by selecting "Check my spelling as I type" under Tools > Options > General.

Once again, I apologize for the confusion. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Christi N.

Hi angie,

I'm sorry that the spell check feature is not currently working for you in roundcube. By default this feature is not enabled for roundcube, but I will be working with our Systems Team to have this enabled. I will let you know as soon as this is complete.

Thank you for your patience while we resolve this for you.

Regards,

Christi N.
