Trouble receiving email on new domain

I setup a new mail account and was testing it. I am able to send a message but the account does not receive anything back?

Hi rickelman,

I'm sorry you were having trouble with your new email account. While researching this for you I see that you also contacted our Support Department and the email address is on a domain that was added to your cPanel account less than 24 hours ago. Any time a domain is added to the cPanel, please allow 4-24 hours for DNS to propagate and both the website and email to be fully functional.
