I have been using a 3rd party email filtering service, so my MX records are pointing to that service. I now need to stop using that service and reset my MX records to their original state. What is that state?

Hello Mkelly4ca,

The MX records that you have on your account would need to be replaced to ONE MX record with a priority of 0, and the host name
set to your domain name (no http or www). You have two MX entries, so they would both need to be removed. Remember that DNS changes may require up to 24 hours of propagation time for the change to take effect.

The DNS change can be made by technical support if necessary, but the default settings are typically simply your domain name. If you want to have your DNS settings changed by live support, call/email/chat into support and verify your account with the last 4 digits of the CC on the account or the Account Management Panel (AMP) password.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
