Auto Backups

This account includes auto backups. Where are they located just in case ?

I would like to send them to a remote/portable hard drive.

You do not have direct access for these backups. They are kept on a separate server and update every 24-36 hours (these backups are not archival). You can keep your files and databases backed up using FTP, if you wish to have a copy of your files.
