Trouble installing Drupal after delting files in account

i would like to help me restore the files in my account to the default file settings as i am getting problems/errors with installations because i accidentally deleted some files. thank you

Hello pona1,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with errors during installations. While checking into this for you, I see that it looks like you deleted the files under the drup 1 directory. Resetting your account to the initial settings and files can be done, but probably isn't necessary. Since you still have a database, you should be able to simply re-upload your Drupal files and connect them to that database.

Just a quick note on directory names, it's best practice to not have spaces in the directory names. I recommend renaming that directory to something like drup1 or drup-1 instead. Since you are manually installing Drupal, our article on how to manually install PHP software will be helpful.

You could also use Fantastico De Luxe to quickly and easily install Drupal instead of manually installing Drupal.
