I have read that the HTML meta tags lie between the open and closing head tags in the HTML code of a document and the text in these tags is not displayed so my question is do I need them and if so how do I put them in and exactly where do i put them and what should they contain as when i am entering in text it is not in the HTML format?.

Hello MallyChez,

The information for HTML metatags are inserted for each page using the Edit feature of the Premium Website Builder. Located on the left hand sidebar, they are the fields labeled Page Keywords and Page Description.

They are not required, but can help your pages with the search engines.

Best Regards,
Scott M
