Hello sarahjc1, The accept-encoding header tells the server waht code method to use before giving a client response. I am not sure what the default values for jmeter are, as we do not have that here, but all references to accept-encoding and jmeter showed gzip and deflate. These settings are simply methods of data compression that is used before sending it to the client. This is to decrease the workload of the webserver. Best Regards, Scott M |
